Katie Stake is a student at Chapman University's Dodge College of Film and Media Arts currently pursing a B.F.A. in Broadcast Journalism and Documentary Film.

Mission

Katie aspires to make documentary films touching on subjects such as women's rights, politics, travel, the arts, and animal rights.

Background

Katie was raised in both New Jersey and Vermont, and loves the East Coast. She has one dog, Brody, who is her favorite person in the world. She decided to pursue the field of Documentary Film after she watched one in high school that caused her to become vegetarian and realized how powerful films can be in changing the way you view certain things in the world.
